These are the hard things.

Coming out of a severe depression and finding out that you have to wait until you cycle again for adjustments to be made to your meds.

Getting asked out on a date and spending more time worrying about how you are going to feel that day instead of what you are going to wear.

Spending every morning from 9am-11:30am so tired you can’t function and the only way to fix it would be to stop the one med that is actually working.

Listening to other people comment about how “you shouldn’t be tired” or “you’re lucky that you don’t have to deal with health issues”.  Yeah. Right.

Feeling like you will never be able to stay out late or travel or even have a day out of the ordinary without having to deal with the aftermath for at least a week.

  1. I’m sorry you’ve been going through this. :-((((

    Depression is THE WORST.

FYI, I nominated you for the Liebster Award over on my blog. Let me know if you don’t want your link up, but I hope you’re okay with it because your blog is awesome and I think your honesty inspires a lot of people. 🙂
